Introducing Kiber’s Latest Release: Enhanced Teams Integration, Improved Knowledge Sharing, and More!

We’re excited to announce that Kiber has just released Version 3.9 of our Kiber Web SW, along with an updated Kiber Field App and a range of new features for our K3S Device.

But that’s not all! We’ve also redesigned our website to make it even easier for users to find the products and services they need to improve efficiency, safety, and productivity.

So what’s new in this release?

Let’s start with one of the biggest highlights: Teams invitations. With this new feature, remote users can now send Teams invitations directly from within a Kiber session through the chat. This makes it easier for field users to switch from Kiber to Teams sessions, improving the overall user experience. Additionally, for clients who are associated with the Azure Active Directory SSO authentication, it is now possible to enable and restrict this authentication to a specific Azure tenant, providing improved security for Kiber sessions and helping to ensure that sensitive information is protected.

Moving on to the Kiber Field App, we’ve introduced several new features that make it even more powerful and user-friendly. The audio input gain slider, for example, allows field users to adjust the audio input volume gain, ensuring better communication with remote users. Custom server specification is another new feature that enables field users to specify a custom server address for the connection to a Kiber session, making it possible to set up Kiber sessions in local networks or through a VPN.

We’ve also improved knowledge sharing from remote to field users with the introduction of hi-res screen sharing from experts to iOS mobile. The Kiber Field App now also shows an alert when the Helmet Battery is low in K3S mode, allowing for timely battery swaps. Plus, we’ve added a QR-code-based network configuration mode to the Kiber Field App, improving the user experience and making it easier to connect Kiber devices.

The K3S device has also seen some exciting new features, including the disabling of the expert preview when exiting a session, increasing clarity for the user. The Kiber configurator now provides information on the Kiber server connection status, improving the user experience.

But that’s not all – we’ve redesigned our website to make it easier for users to find the products and services they need. Our menu is now divided into HW Solutions and SW Solutions, making it simple to navigate and find the right solutions for your needs.

We’re committed to providing our users with the best possible tools to improve efficiency, safety, and productivity, and we believe that this release of Kiber Web SW, Kiber Field App, and K3S Device, along with our redesigned website, are huge steps in that direction.

We can’t wait for you to try it out!
